API 682 Category 2 & 3, Type A, Arrangement 2 or 3 Type V5B 17D is a reliable, high-performance, balanced double cartridge pusher-type tandem seal, independent of shaft rotation direction. It is designed to seal hazardous fluids in applications where the sealing environment must be strictly controlled. Commonly used in processes involving volatile organic compounds, hydrocarbons, benzene, toluene, solvents, fuel oil, gasoline, chemicals, and caustics.
